I am bringing my invested percentage up to 25% in the S&P 500 Index today in long-term funds (G-fund in the TSP).  More than 11% of stocks made new highs yesterday compared to only 2.3% last May at the prior high; and the % of stocks above their 200-dMA is above the mean so breadth has improved.  I’ve noted other bullish indications in prior blog posts. I don’t like getting back in when there are overbought conditions, or chasing a rally (both happening now), and that’s why I’m only going to be 25% invested in stocks.  If things go south I will be quick to exit.
